Blog

Historical city in the south of the Netherlands

Breda is a lively, cosy student city in North Brabant with a historical centre filled with cultural highlights and interesting architecture. A lot of medieval buildings are in their original state; therefore, you can visit stunning castles and architectural monuments in this town. It is liked by many for a long weekend relaxation because of the history, art and shopping possibilities. The city gives home to countless bars, restaurants, shops and boutiques and eleven museums. It is easy to reach from the main cities of Holland, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The city centre is fairly small, so it is easy to get around. Besides being hospitable, Breda takes accessibility very seriously. There is an ongoing project to make the city even more accessible for everyone.
