Opening hours: every day from 9 to 17.

Parking: parking spaces for the disabled on the streets near the museum (2 in Johannes Vermeerstraat and 4 Jan Luijkenstraat) or at the Q-Park MuseumPlein car park (2).

Tickets: adults: € 22,50; children up to 18 years: free.

Accompanying persons: free entry for any accompanying persons.

Entrance: the museum has 2 entrance and they are located in The Passage, the arcade under the building. The accessible one, with a lift, is located on the left side when arriving from Museumplein. 

Rental: possibility of renting wheelchairs, guide rods, rollators or folding chairs (contact in advance).

Lifts: suitable for wheelchair transport.

Loop system: a loop system has been installed in the museum auditorium.

Sign language: sign language tours are offered (English and Dutch).

Visual disabilities: guided programs for people with visual disabilities.

Toilets: accessible toilets with support handles.

Guide dogs: accepted if they wear a suitable harness.

Scooters for mobility: they are accepted, preferably in the less crowded hours.

– Hours: Open from 6-9 p.m.
– Environment: Dimmed lighting in the atrium, fewer visitors, and no children.
– Amenities: Quiet seating areas and stools available for use.
– Audio Tour: Free audio tour via the Rijksmuseum app.
– Exhibitions: Access to a temporary exhibition or part of the permanent collection, which varies by date. Guided tours are available during the evening for groups of up to 4 people. Book through the ‘Book your visit’ button. Note that guided tours are not offered on exhibition evenings due to acoustics in the Philips Wing.
