In August 2023, Marloes became the new hostess at Aldörrum, taking over from Gerda and Carl, who built the property into a cozy mini-campsite with twelve farmhouse-style accommodations (hoevelogementen). Located between Helmond and Eindhoven in southeastern North Brabant, Aldörrum is set against the beautiful Biezen nature reserve, making it perfect for cycling and hiking enthusiasts.
The property offers five wheelchair-accessible units (for up to six people), each with specially adapted bathrooms, and two apartments featuring under-counter kitchens for added convenience. Guests can also enjoy a wheelchair-accessible infrared sauna and accessible sanitary facilities at the mini-campsite. Marloes aims to keep the warm, countryside atmosphere that emphasizes relaxation, respect for nature, and a sense of community.
