Mint Hotel Amsterdam, situated next to Amsterdam Central Station, became DoubleTree by Hilton on the 12th of December. The American Blackstone Group owns the eight Mint Hotels since September 2011. Mint Hotel Amsterdam is the first one to change name. The hotelrooms, services and facilities will stay the same. Mint Hotel Amsterdam opened May 2011 and is an important new hotel for the future of Amsterdam accessible tourism, because it has 27 rooms for people with disabilities.
